Staffing shortages, high turnover, and limited capacity for preventive care make it difficult to deliver the wellness programming residents deserve. Falls remain the leading cause of injury-related hospitalizations among older adults in Canada — and the risk is rising.
Falls and chronic disease are not inevitable parts of aging — they are signals that prevention isn't being done well enough.

Physiotherapy doesn't replace what retirement communities already do well — it fills the gaps that are hardest to fill on your own.
Hiring a full-time physiotherapist is expensive and often unnecessary for the volume of clinical need in a single community. PhysioCare At Home gives you access to registered physiotherapists and kinesiologists on a contracted basis — so you get professional clinical expertise on-site, exactly when you need it, without the overhead of a permanent hire.
Our clinicians integrate seamlessly with your existing wellness and lifestyle team. They don't arrive to take over — they arrive to support, train, and strengthen what you're already building.
Most retirement communities are managing fall risk reactively — responding after an incident rather than preventing it. Our evidence-based screening clinics, exercise programs, and coaching sessions are designed to identify risk early and intervene before a fall happens.
Falls and preventable decline are not inevitable. With the right clinical partner, your community can demonstrate measurable outcomes — and become the community that families choose because of your commitment to resident health.
Evidence-based programs that improve strength, mobility, and healthy aging — empowering residents to live more fully and remain independent longer.
Proactive clinical assessments and prevention strategies identify at-risk residents before an incident occurs — reducing emergency transfers and liability exposure.
Comprehensive seminars on injury prevention, body mechanics, and safe handling reduce workplace injuries and build staff confidence.
Registered physiotherapists and kinesiologists on-site on a contracted basis — professional clinical expertise without permanent staffing costs.
Positions your community as the evidence-based care leader in your market — a meaningful differentiator for health-conscious residents and their families.
No complex tiers. No confusing packages. A single transparent hourly rate gives your community full flexibility to build the program that fits your residents' needs.
Our standard rate for all contracted clinical services. Volume pricing available as your committed hours grow.
Full-day clinics offered twice per year. Residents receive a 1-hour falls prevention education session followed by an individual risk screening. Each resident receives a detailed action plan identifying their risk level and recommended next steps.
Two annual staff seminars focused on proper body mechanics, safe handling techniques, and injury prevention. Practical and theoretical components help caregivers protect themselves and the residents they support.
Monthly 1-hour sessions (via Zoom) led by our physiotherapist or kinesiologist. Designed for wellness coordinators and lifestyle coordinators, these sessions provide evidence-based exercise design and wellness plan reviews so your team can lead safer, more effective group classes.
Delivered in structured 4-hour blocks, our on-site sessions are designed to maximize clinical value for your community. Most communities partner with us for 4 hours per week or 8 hours per week, scaling up as their program grows. Each block includes individual and group rehabilitation, mobility assessments, equipment recommendations, and direct collaboration with nursing and wellness staff on complex cases and post-hospital return residents.
Our free monthly newsletter delivers evidence-based resources, fall prevention strategies, wellness program ideas, and practical guidance — designed specifically for retirement community directors, wellness coordinators, and lifestyle staff.
